Anya Soaps: Passion, Patience, and Pure Perfection
Growing up in a beautiful hill-surrounded village near Coimbatore, TN, As many, I started my life with little awareness of health. But soon, I became more conscious, especially about food and wellness. As the world shifted towards skin and health awareness, I dove deeper into the topic.
What frustrated me was the cosmetic industry’s focus on beauty rather than actual skin health. My first step was using a neem stick to brush my teeth, and it worked wonders for my dental health. But skincare? I couldn't imagine making my own soap and ditching conventional bars.
Then, a good friend revealed he was making soap at home. It was a revelation. I became determined to try it myself. At first, I thought it would be easy, but soon realized it was much more complicated, especially when it came to making soap that was safe for the skin. After 15 months of trials and errors, I perfected a formula.
The feedback from neighbors was incredible, and I began selling locally. But despite the encouragement, I stopped, only to regret it later. After five years of local supply, I decided to turn my passion into reality and launched Anya—a handmade natural soap brand.
